Palin Gives Obama Donation Boost
Sarah Palin helped the McCain campaign rake in $10 million after McCain announced her as his running mate last week. This week, Michael Luo blogs at the New York Times that Palin's convention speech helped the Obama campaign do the same, setting a one-day fundraising record. That shows that the Republican politics of Fear and Smear have had their day, methinks. A mobilized Democratic base is quite a bit larger than a mobilized Republican base.
