More Clashing of Cultures

This stuff just keeps popping up on my radar these days. Here’s another example of the culture of immigrant Muslims clashing with that of their new home, once again the UK.

A female Muslim councillor has been subjected to a hate campaign by Muslim men in her ward, leaving her unable to visit some of the streets that she represents.

Hasina Khan, 38, the only Muslim councillor in Chorley, Lancashire, said that she had suffered a barrage of threatening phone calls, verbal abuse and insulting graffiti because the men objected her public role.

Muslim men who have immigrated to Western countries need to be taught that women are free to do what they like, just as are the men. They aren’t meant to be parked at home, hiding behind a veil, avoiding contact with other men, doing nothing but housework and popping out babies.

Mrs. Khan’s imam tries to paint himself as ‘with it’, but in effect demonstrates he’s just another knuckledragger.

He said that, as imam, he could not forbid Muslim women from standing for election, but he would be entitled to forbid his wife. “Because this is Britain, you cannot tell anyone what to do. I can tell my wife, but cannot tell other women, ‘You cannot do this and that’,” he said.

Someone needs to teach this baboon that his wife is just as free as other women. Oppression of women should not be tolerated in Western societies in the 21st century. Get with the program, or go back to the Bronze Age.

And one more thing. The imam seemed a bit ticked off that Mrs. Khan went public with her problems, saying that she “should have taken her grievances to the mosque’s elders, rather than
speaking out.” He needs to get it through his skull into his little, backward-looking brain — his silly religion has no authority in the UK or any other Western country.

I’m sure this sort of thing will continue to surface, so I’ll unfortunately have no lack of Muslim stupidity to rant about.
