June 17 has been declared Download Day for Firefox 3. The purpose behind the promotion is to set a Guinness World record for the most downloads of a software product in 24 hours (though the official page says they are going for the record for ‘the most software downloaded’, which isn’t quite the same — but we know what they mean).
I’ve been using the beta of FF3 on my Ubuntu box and have no complaints. I’ll be downloading it on my Windows box for sure.
