So I thought the snow had stopped early yesterday evening. My wife and I were holed up in the house, glued to season 3 of Lost and didn’t realize the snow had started up again. When I took our dog Charlie out around midnight, I found the light dusting we had seen earlier had gotten heavier. When I headed out to work early this morning, the snow had stopped falling but it had been piling up all night. Three of the pics in the slide show below were taken at midnight. The last one was taken around 6:30 this morning. It doesn’t look like much, but for the city of Seoul that’s some heavy snow.
It looks like we aren’t going to make it to Juno unless it’s still playing somewhere after tomorrow. We had no time yesterday and won’t have any tomorrow. We did take in No Country for Old Men tonight though. I loved it. The reaction of the audience at the end was priceless. There was a collective gasp followed by stunned silence. I can’t recall ever experiencing that before.
That’s three good movies in a row. I wish we’d paid closer attention to the dates they opened, though. We should have seen No Country and Juno on Sunday since they were already in their second week, and saved Yuma and Atonement for next week since they just started last Thursday. We may get lucky though and find Juno still playing somewhere around Seoul later this week.
