Republican Senator Larry Craig of Idaho has once again changed course, saying he will not to resign from the Senate now that his request to withdraw his guilty plea has been denied. This guy changes his mind more often than Mitt Romney. The presiding judge, Charles A. Porter Jr, made a comment in his ruling that I find rather dubious:
The defendant, a career politician with a college education, is of, at least, above-average intelligence…
Then again, that’s probably true when using other Republicans as the yardstick.
