There are few places left where the conservative idiots who still desperately cling to every burst of stupidity that issues from the Decider's mouth can gather and put their ignorance on display without fear of confronting reality. The number of brainless and delusional Bush Sheep continues to shrink as more of them awake from their stupor. As a result, only the dumbest of the dumb remain, so they can only find solace in online communities where the dumbest of the dumb congregate. One such place is Michelle Malkin's blog. Malkin herself is way out there on the way-out-there scale. If the drivel on her blog isn't enough to demonstrate how loose her screws are, there's plenty of evidence over at YouTube. Of course, a public personality like Malkin (and Coulter and O'Reilly) might not truly be a loon but could possibly be playing a role (not Limbaugh, though, he's no doubt a true nutjob). So while we can look at her rantings with a less-than-critical eye, it's those who lap up her oral poo that are truly disturbing. In a recent post, Malkin talks about the movement to impeach Bush. Mixed in with her usual tripe is a surprising acknowledgment of at least one aspect of reality:

These people mean business. They’re organized, energized, and relentless. They have substantial public support, funding, and legal/academic infrastructure. Does the GOP plan to rely on Nancy Pelosi to fend these impeachment hounds off? If so, they vastly underestimate the nutroots’ zeal–and Pelosi’s fecklessness.

Yes, supporters of impeaching Bush are serious, the ranks are swelling, and there is solid legal footing to stand on. But Malkin is horribly off with her characterization of the impeachment hounds as 'nutroots'. These are people grounded in reality (though, admittedly, some of them take longer to recognize it than others). The real nutroots are represented in the comments section of Malkin's blog, particularly on this post. This is the underarm of the internet, one of the few places where the dumbest of the dumb can come and proudly display their mindless stupidity for their peers and be patted on the back for it. Yes, this is the home of the Malkanites. Here's a typical Malkanite remark:

How utterly stupid does someone have to be not to recognize what has happened to the American government in the last few years? Anyone who really, truly believes that the call for impeachment is politically motivated, that it's silly, must be working with a severe brain cell deficiency. I mean, this is a class of people that is too stupid to breathe. But this is just the top of the layer of scum. Dig deeper, and you'll find gems like this one:

Some people seem to be born lacking the ability to reason. Even if you are brought up by parents who are too stupid to tie their shoelaces, I don't see how you can be just as much of an idiot without genetic help. It would be catastrophic if the majority of Americans were as afflicted as these Malkinites. Thankfully, these people truly are a minority. It's a horrible shame, though, that the rest of us have to share oxygen with them.
