Today, America will speak. We all will learn if her citizens have snapped out of the mindless daze they have been living in since September 11, 2001. Will my fellow Americans stand up and demand that Democracy be restored to our once great nation, or will they succumb to the fearmongering and manipulative drivel our Republican government spews forth every day? The world is watching with great anticipation. Is America a country of people who love freedom, or one of mindless zombies who believe everything their president wants them to?
If you have traditionally voted Republican, you must think long and hard about the vote you cast today. A vote for Republicans is, in 2006, not what it used to be. The future of our country hinges on this election. Voting Republican is the wrong answer.
A vote for Republicans this year is a vote for war criminals and liars. It is a vote not in support of Democracy, but in support of tyranny. The Bush administration has used the Republican majority in Congress to systematically strip away from Americans the freedoms he professes to defend in Iraq. A vote for Republicans today means two more years of unchecked power for an American dictator.
A vote for Republicans this year is a vote for bigotry, intolerance, and greed. The Republican party is not one of equals, it is one that sees the world in Black and White, as Christian and Muslim, as American and Foreigner. Republican values aren’t American values, as party members have shown time and again over the past few years. How many Republicans have been caught making racially-charged remarks? How many have been caught in corruption scandals? Do you really want to vote for those who serve for the sake of power and not for the sake of the American people?
A vote for Republicans is a vote for dishonesty. How many times has Bush been caught lying? How many Republican Congressmen have been caught lying? The tactics the Republicans are using this election are despicable. They are attempting to confuse and frighten likely Democrat voters so that they will stay home on this election day.
It is saddening and infuriating that our government has fallen so low. And we let it happen. Today is the day that we can change that. By casting votes for Democrat candidates today, you can begin to reverse the path of destruction that Bush and his allies have set us on. Let the government know that you are not brainless sheep content with being led to slaughter. Take control of your future and show the world that Americans still believe in Freedom and Democracy, the ideals for which so many of our forefathers sacrificed their lives.
Send a signal to Bush that his time as a dictator is over. Tell him it is time to answer for his crimes and abuses. If you don’t do it, who will?

In my research, the real problem is the fact that both Repubs and Dems have been bought by the real rulers of us: international bankers. Check out this article I found called New World Order Banks that shows how the American people have been tricked into funding their own demise.
