Joe Lieberman on the Conservative Idiots List
I must say I really enjoyed the Top Ten Conservative Idiots List this week. The Decider is notably absent this week, but there’s more than enough idiocy from other conservatives to make up for it. Of particular note, Joe Lieberman made the list for the first time. In fact, he holds the first 4 positions this week. His decision to ignore the voice of Connecticut voters and turn his back on his party certainly makes him a supremo idiot. But read items #3 and #4 on the list to see how the word ’supremo’ just does not do justice to Lieberman’s idiocy.
In other idiocy, we see that the Repbulicans are once again manipulating the news of terror to instill fear in Americans in an effort to influence the vote. It worked in 2004 and landed the Great Leader back in the White House for a second term. They are now betting that it will help them hold a majority of congressional seats this year. We also hear of a Republican wife-beater, a conservative activist who doesn’t agree that America is the Home of the Free, and Congressional Republicans who think that the boys they sent off to war don’t deserve to benefit from research into brain injuries caused by explosions (such as mortar, IED and rocket attacks).
Once again, the Conservative Idiots List lets us know just how well our elected officials and their supporters are performing in their efforts to destroy our great country. If you voted for them in the last few elections, you can pat yourself on the back for a job well done. You did want them to ruin our country, didn’t you?
